Inspired by Egyptian canopic jars

Canopic jars inspired by the Egyptians.

In ancient Egypt canopic jars have been used to store the intestines of mummified people. First copies found date back towards the end of the fourth dynasty of Meresanch III. The pot-bellied jars with lids in the shape of animal heads at that time were made of clay, alabaster and limestone. The concept is based on Admiral Canopus, who led the mythological fleet with Isis and Osiris, the Egyptian god of the afterlife, to India.
